Job summary

The University of Manchester seeks a Reporting Officer within the Information & Insight team of the Division of Development and Alumni Relations to enhance reporting across fundraising, volunteering and supporter engagement. You will deliver accurate reports, manage data, and help define processes so dashboards and insights are trusted across the campaign.

You should bring strong data skills, experience with CRM and reporting tools, and the ability to present findings clearly to diverse

Qualifications

• Experience of effectively developing and delivering reports.
• Experience of stakeholder management, effective planning, and process development.
• Experience of producing data analysis and insight to steer business decisions.
• A keen eye for detail with the ability to produce and own accurate data and work collaboratively to identify and correct errors.
• The ability to explain data, complex information, patterns and meaning to broad and varied audiences in a digestible way.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver accurate, timely reports that support Challenge Accepted and wider DDAR activity.
• Work with colleagues across DDAR and the wider University to collect, categorise and manage data.
• Help develop clear definitions, processes and documentation so reports are trusted and consistent.
• Explain data and insight clearly so colleagues can understand progress, patterns and decisions.
• Use CRM, reporting and data tools to improve the quality, usefulness and efficiency of reporting.
