Job summary

Mourant seeks an Assistant Manager for its Funds Services team in Jersey. You will work with Fund Accounting to deliver financial reporting to diverse client entities, ensuring accurate records and timely statements. Grow through a variety of technical accounts and mentoring trainees.

Ideal candidates hold ACCA/ACA or equivalent, with UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge and strong Excel skills. Jersey residency entitlements are required. This is a full-time role in Jersey.

Qualifications

• Makes course of action clear for financial reporting under UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Maintains accurate accounting records across client entities.
• Prepares and reviews financial statements and periodic reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date accounting records in client databases (Viewpoint, Investran, Yardi).
• Prepare and review financial statements and periodic reports timely.
• Ensure deadlines and client expectations are met and communicated.
• Collaborate with administration and colleagues for accounting support.
• Mentor fund accounting trainees and uphold firm policies.
