Job summary

Marlborough Group seeks a Fund Reporting and Accounts Operations Specialist to support the Operations Manager across Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting, Middle Office and Fund Reporting. The role involves coordinating with SS&C, reviewing fund reports, and maintaining operational controls to meet regulatory and client obligations.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving and project management skills, with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery within a hybrid Bolton/Chorley

Qualifications

• IOC certification and CPD are essential.
• Experience with outsourced operation services is advantageous.
• Proven track record in maintaining an operation control environment.
• Experience reviewing fund reports and accounts from third-party administrators.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational performance against KPIs and SLAs for outsourced services.
• Ensure systems and controls enable regulatory compliance and stakeholder obligations.
• Review outputs from third-party service providers for accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct 100% review of fund reports and accounts prepared by SS&C.
• Coordinate with SS&C and internal stakeholders on regulatory changes affecting fund reporting.
• Identify and escalate operational risks and issues to appropriate owners.
• Lead and manage operational projects from planning to completion.
• Provide guidance on audits and ensure timely closure of management actions.
