Fasanara Capital is seeking a Fund Controllers professional to provide broad exposure across Alternative Credit, Venture Capital, Quant and Tokenisation. You will perform fund NAV controls, valuations challenge, financial reconciliations and oversee capital activity while collaborating with auditors and service providers.

Qualifikationen

• Preferably up to 3 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, fund operations, or similar.
• Strong analytical mindset with interest in understanding how investments flow through NAV and financial statements.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to work with large volumes of data.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with VBA to automate controls and reports.
• A good understanding of investment funds; exposure to alternative investments would be beneficial.
• Process-improvement mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently in a high-paced environment.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or progress towards one, is a plus but not a requirement

Aufgaben

• Review and control fund NAVs, working closely with third-party administrators to ensure calculations are complete, accurate and supported.
• Develop a detailed understanding of the funds to challenge valuations, accruals, fees and other NAV components.
• Perform and oversee reconciliations of investments, cash, income and balance sheet items, investigating differences.
• Track and control fund-level capital activity, including subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, distributions, FX and allocations.
• Assist with processing and control of fund expenses, including invoices, accruals, allocations and reimbursements.
• Support operational and accounting treatment of investments across asset classes, including CLOs, private credit, venture capital and tokenised assets.
• Coordinate with auditors, administrators and service providers during the audit process with timely documentation.
• Work with Investment, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Operations to reflect transactions in processes.
• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify inconsistencies and control issues.
• Collaborate with Technology to develop and improve the internal fund management platform and automate workflows.
• Build Excel-based controls and analytical tools using VBA to reduce manual work.
• Continue to look for workflow improvements and stronger documentation.
• Help strengthen the Fund Controllers documentation and control framework as platforms grow
