Job summary

Novus, part of the LTE Group, is recruiting a Functional Skills Maths or English Teacher for HMP Manchester. This permanent, full-time role involves delivering engaging lessons and supporting learners to reach their potential in a secure environment.

You will work 37 hours per week with a DBS check and will join a trusted prison-education provider known for its good Ofsted rating and strong partnerships across the UK.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised teaching qualification with subject specialism where applicable.
• Have a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
• Experience delivering Maths or English up to Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maths or English lessons up to Level 2.
• Produce accurate and timely reporting on learner progress.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support learners.
