Job summary

Minerva in the United Kingdom is seeking registered adult or mental health nurses for Functional Assessor roles. These positions are hybrid, permanent, with Monday to Friday 37.5 hours.

You will assess how disabilities affect daily life and prepare reports for DWP to determine benefit eligibility. Candidates should have at least 1 year of UK post-registration experience, strong communication, and comfort with MS Word and reporting software.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered adult or mental health nurse with at least 1 year’s UK post-registration experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
• Expert clinician comfortable handling complex cases and mental health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily life.
• Produce factual reports to help DWP determine eligibility for benefits.
• Contribute to ongoing professional development and CPD.
