Job summary

Qualifications

  • Full Monday to Friday availability during standard school hours.
  • Experience supporting children or young people in schools, nurseries, sports coaching, care or youth work.
  • Patient, proactive and resilient approach to pupil support.
  • Strong communication skills and confident foundational English and Maths.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Right to work in the UK with reliable transport links across West Sussex and Surrey.

Responsibilities

We are seeking dedicated and dependable Teaching Assistants to join our network of partner primary, secondary, and SEN schools across West Sussex and Surrey. What Your Role Will Involve
  • Working full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) alongside class teachers to maintain smooth daily routines.
  • Leading small group interventions in core literacy, phonics, and numeracy.
  • Providing dedicated 1:1 learning support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, or speech and language delays.
  • Helping create an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment throughout the school day.
  • Supporting classroom preparation, learning displays, and break-time monitoring.
