Job summary

EQUANS in Stevenage is recruiting a Premises Assistant to help maintain safety, security and day-to-day operations at Marriott & Lonsdale School. This permanent, full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week and a salary of £26,734.50 per year, with an attractive benefits package.

You will carry out routine inspections, fire safety checks, minor repairs and general maintenance, keep accurate records, monitor stock, support contractors on site and respond to maintenance requests while following

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role is desirable.
• Good reading and writing skills.
• Basic computer literacy or willingness to train.
• Knowledge of health and safety.
• Prior experience in a school environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, security and day-to-day operations at the school.
• Carry out routine inspections, fire safety checks and plant checks.
• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance.
• Keep accurate records, monitor stock levels and report defects.
• Support contractors on site and respond to reasonable maintenance requests.
