Office Manager – Rural Property & Farm Business

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and highly experienced Office Manager to join our small, busy rural office supporting the Directors and wider team. You will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day administration of a varied business portfolio, including a business park, caravan storage facilities, and a working farm.

This is a hands-on role with a wide range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment that requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

·Manage daily office operations and ensure smooth workflow

·Provide high-level administrative support to Directors and the team

·Handle communication, records, and compliance across property, storage, and farming activities

·Liaise with tenants, contractors, suppliers, and clients

·Maintain booking systems, databases, and financial records

·Process invoices and accounts using Xero

·Use and maintain bespoke internal software systems (training provided)

·Prepare and manage tenancy agreements, documents, and reports

·Oversee regulatory compliance and maintain accurate records

·Support day-to-day administrative aspects of the farm business

What We're Looking For

·10+ years’ experience in office administration or management

·Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a rural, farming, or property-based business

·Proficiency in Microsoft Office – especially Word, Excel, and Outlook

·Experience with Xero accounting software

·Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail

·Excellent verbal and written communication

·A self-starter who can prioritise and manage multiple tasks

·Professional, discreet, and confident handling sensitive information

·A sound understanding of property and farm business operations is essential
