As we take this exciting next step, we’re thrilled to offer this unique opportunity to join our team as a People & Office Manager (m/f/d) — playing a key role in shaping our brand-new UK office and building a vibrant, collaborative workplace from day one. As our UK office grows, you’ll help shape its foundation — structures, culture, and ways of working — while evolving from a go-to person into a more specialized role that fits your strengths with the support of the EGYM headquarters team.

Office Management:

  • Workspace-Creation:You’ll support the planning and setup of our new UK office (St. Pauls) and help create an inviting, functional, and inclusive workplace from day one.
  • Guest Relations:You serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and external partners
  • Workplace Safety:You ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • Office Operations: You oversee all aspects of office operations, including supplies, facility maintenance, and coordination with external service providers (once the office is operational)
Employee Engagement:
  • Employee Experience: You welcome and onboard new team members; recognize and celebrate key milestones such as work anniversaries and birthdays
  • Team Events:You organize and execute local team events and activities while collaborating with the global People & Office Management team to drive company-wide engagement initiatives, such as the New Year’s and Summer Parties
People Management:
  • People Operations: You act as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related matters, including payroll, time off, and benefits
  • Talent Acquisition:You support the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, welcoming candidates, and ensuring a positive candidate experience

Your fitness level
  • HR Experience: You are familiar with basic HR processes such as payroll, benefit administration and recruiting
  • Office Management Experience: You bring proven experience in managing office operations, including facility maintenance, and vendor coordination
  • Communication Skills: You communicate clearly and confidently with people at all levels and locations, making sure information flows smoothly and your message is easy to understand and convincing
  • Way of working: You are highly organized, can prioritize well, stay calm under pressure, and bring a positive, hands-on attitude that inspires others
  • Way of thinking:You think ahead as well as outside the box, and focus on finding practical solutions
  • London based: You are able to work on-site in our office in central London 4-5 days per week

Your training goal for your first 6 months
  • Office Opening: You will have completed all office management related tasks relevant for the opening of our EGYM UK office in London
  • Employee Engagement:You will have played an important role in finalizing the office set-up so that employees enjoy coming to work there
  • Collaboration: You will have established trusting relationships with key stakeholders and employees and are recognized as the go-to person for the UK office
  • Process Knowledge:You will have developed a solid understanding of the core people and office management processes and handle them with confidence
