Job summary

Prime Life are looking for passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our friendly team as a Night Care Assistant, on a full time basis. At present, we have several vacancies available and are keen to meet with candidates as soon as possible for interviews.

This role is based at Rutland Care Village in Oakham, Leicestershire, and covers night shifts from 8pm to 8am across a 7-day week. You will support residents with personal care, welfare checks, nutrition and mobility, and maintain

Qualifications

• Care experience desirable but not essential; full training provided.
• Patient, understanding and respectful approach to residents.
• Ability to work night shifts and in a residential care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and getting ready for bed.
• Carry out routine welfare checks during the night.
• Support residents with dining, nutrition and hydration as needed.
• Encourage safe mobility with aids and equipment.
• Provide companionship and maintain written records.
• Collaborate with the care team to promote residents' well-being.
• Greet and assist family members visiting the home.
