Job summary

Prime Life is seeking passionate care professionals to join our team as Night Care Assistants. Roles available on a full or part-time basis at Woodlands Care Home in the Oadby area of Leicester, designed to support residents with various health conditions.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and desire to make a difference for residents.
• Prior experience as Care Assistant or Support Worker is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and retire to bed for the evening.
• Complete routine welfare checks throughout the night to ensure residents are safe and well.
• Support residents to dine and maintain good nutrition and hydration as required.
• Encourage residents to mobilise safely around the home, with mobility aids and specialist equipment.
• Provide friendship and companionship to residents.
• Maintain accurate and timely written records and completing documentation.
• Engage with a multi-disciplinary team to promote residents’ health and well-being.
• Welcome family members to the home and assist with enquiries.

Job description

Prime Life are on the lookout for passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our friendly team as a Night Care Assistant, on a full or part time basis. At present, we have several vacancies available and are keen to meet with candidates as soon as possible for interviews.

This role will be based at Woodlands Care Home in the Oadby area of Leicester. The home has been specially designed to cater to the every need of 26 residents, living with a range physical and mental health conditions, some related to age, which require dignified support from our caring team. It is essential that candidates for this role are therefore patient, understanding and respectful of our resident’s individual abilities.

Responsibilities of our Night Care Assistant include:

What we’re looking for in our Night Care Assistant:

To be successful within this role, you will have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for our residents. Though prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support worker is desirable, this is not essential as full training is provided. Typically, our residents live with age related conditions, life-limiting health conditions, mental health conditions and physical disabilities that require dignified support from our care team. It is essential that candidates for this role are therefore patient, understanding and respectful of our resident’s individual abilities.
