Job summary

Prime Life in Oakham invites applications for a Night Care Assistant at Rutland Care Village. This full-time role supports residents with personal care, welfare checks, nutrition, mobility and companionship while maintaining accurate records.

We welcome candidates with caring nature; prior care experience helps but full training is provided. DBS is fully funded, with generous holiday pay and a Refer a Friend bonus of up to £250.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and desire to help residents.
• Full training provided; prior care experience is desirable but not required.
• Ability to work nights and support residents with dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and getting ready for bed.
• Conduct routine welfare checks during the night.
• Support residents with meals, hydration and nutrition as needed.
• Encourage safe mobility around the home with equipment and aids.
• Provide friendship and companionship to residents.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to promote well-being.
