Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting on behalf of a lovely nursery in Cradley Heath for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a full-time, Monday-Friday basis. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment where children learn and grow.

You will plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, observe and record progress, and work closely with colleagues, parents and other professionals within the EYFS framework.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years.
• Previous experience in an early years or nursery setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
• Paediatric First Aid is desirable.
• Reliable, professional and enthusiastic approach.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development and daily routines.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Support children's personal care needs.
• Work in line with the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress.
• Encourage positive relationships and social development.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating nursery environment.
• Work closely with colleagues, parents and other professionals.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies.
