Job summary

Flourish Education seeks an Early Years Practitioner to join a Cheltenham primary school. You will work in the pre-school, supporting early development through play, routines, and inclusive activities. Some pupils have low-level SEN and you will help foster independence and safety.

The role is full-time, starting after the October half-term until February with potential extension, requiring an Early Years qualification and prior experience in early years or primary settings.

Qualifications

• A relevant Early Years qualification.
• Experience in an early years, nursery, or primary school setting.
• Understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging age-appropriate activities that promote learning.
• Support communication, language, social, and physical skills.
• Assist with daily routines and play-based experiences.
• Provide support for children with low-level SEN needs.
• Observe progress and share updates with staff.
• Maintain safeguarding and health and safety throughout the day.
