Job summary

ChiroCat is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer in Bristol. You will own backend features central to operations and analytics, while also contributing to a modern JavaScript frontend.

The role focuses on PHP in Symfony/Laravel with Vue or React, working in a small, flexible team that values ownership and pragmatism. Hybrid in-office/remote, salary £50,000–£60,000, with holiday, pension and social events.

Qualifications

• Strong PHP experience in Symfony or Laravel for a business critical environment.
• Solid understanding of OO design and SOLID principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain backend features across internal systems including reporting and the B2B portal.
• Write clean, testable PHP with Symfony, with unit and functional tests.
• Contribute to CI and deployment practices and code reviews.
• Collaborate with end users to turn requirements into pragmatic solutions.
• Help evolve platform using PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, Vue.js, AWS and Docker.
