Job summary

Applause IT Recruitment is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a growing UK software company. You will contribute across the stack on a production customer platform, focusing on Next.js, NestJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and AWS, with code reviews and growth opportunities toward lead developer.

You will start on well-scoped features, gain mentoring from the tech lead, and collaborate with desktop software teams and external partners as the platform expands to include backend compute and AI

Qualifications

• Experience with React/Next.js and Node.js REST APIs.
• Strong SQL/PostgreSQL experience and query tuning.
• Proficient Git usage and writing tests.

Responsibilities

• Build features across the Next.js frontend and NestJS API.
• Design and evolve PostgreSQL schemas, including migrations.
• Build APIs used by desktop and web services; ensure reliability.
• Deploy and monitor services on AWS with security and cost focus.
• Write automated tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
