Job summary

Volition in Central London is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, develop and continually improve production systems used by real-world clients. The role requires a solid full-stack background with modern practices and strong API design capabilities.

The ideal candidate has 3–10 years of experience, hands-on work with Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and React, and a track record of shipping production-grade software.

Qualifications

• Strong and recent commercial Next.js experience.
• Genuine full-stack engineering exposure, not only frontend.
• Experience building and maintaining production apps.
• Experience designing or integrating APIs and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain modern full-stack applications using Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and React.
• Take ownership of features from design through production.
• Develop scalable, maintainable and well-structured software.
• Build and integrate APIs and backend services.
• Work across frontend and backend components of the platform.
• Apply testing, code quality, architecture and maintainability practices.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability and developer experience.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
