Job summary

Motion Applied is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop next-generation digital products and AI-powered workflows, spanning frontend, backend, data and AI. You will contribute to delivering web applications, AI-enabled interfaces, copilot experiences, and reusable frameworks to support our software portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Strong programming experience in Python, C#, .NET, or other object-oriented languages.
  • Experience with version control systems and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and system design principles.
  • Experience building, testing, deploying, and monitoring production software.
  • Knowledge of performance analysis, profiling, and optimisation techniques.
  • Experience with package management and build automation tools.
  • Experience developing data-driven applications and distributed systems.
  • Experience with stream processing technologies such as Apache Kafka.
  • Experience deploying and operating containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Frontend development experience using React, Angular, or similar modern frameworks.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.

Role Overview

The Full Stack Software Engineer will develop next-generation digital products and user experiences, combining modern web technologies with AI-powered workflows.

This role will be responsible for delivering web applications, AI-enabled user interfaces, copilot experiences, and reusable application frameworks that support the organisation's software portfolio.

The successful candidate will work across frontend, backend, data, and AI technologies to create intuitive, scalable, and high-performance solutions for customers and internal users.
