The role of a Digital Marketing Graduate at Canonical

Canonical has been providing open source solutions since 2004, helping develop innovations like cloud, machine learning, robotics, and blockchain. Marketing at Canonical involves being at the forefront of technology adoption, managing digital campaigns, lifecycle marketing, events, partnerships, and community development. This role reports to the Growth Engineering Manager and is based remotely in the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities:

1. Support marketing team members with setting up and monitoring paid campaigns.
2. Monitor paid performance and budgets.
3. Leverage automation and AI to enhance paid performance.
4. Develop Canonical's adtech stack to industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with ad platforms (Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
• Familiarity with campaign tracking and analytics tools.
• Experience in lead generation campaigns.
• Knowledge of A/B testing and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Growth mindset and willingness to take risks.
• Interest in marketing technology trends.
• Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
