Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Energy Systems, or equivalent with >=6 years in the field.
• Experience with commercial or industrial fuel-fired equipment and combustion systems.
• Strong understanding of boilers, burners, furnaces, gas turbines, and combustion controls.
• Experience working with manufacturers, EPCs, or TIC-related field evaluations is a plus.
• Ability to develop technical scopes and support quotations for complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Market and Business Development: identify opportunities in commercial/industrial fuel systems.
• Develop and expand technical service offerings for fuel-fired equipment and infrastructure.
• Serve as SME for fuel systems and combustion applications on client projects.
• Research regulatory requirements, safety codes, and emerging technologies.
• Prepare technical scopes, estimate resources, and support project quotations and timelines.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure quality and safety in field evaluations.
• Forecast future resource and competency needs based on market growth.
• Represent CSA Group at industry events and establish stakeholder relationships.
• Travel approximately 10% for client meetings, site visits, and events.
