Job summary

Proflex Advanced Technology UK Ltd is seeking a Fuel Systems Design Engineer to translate customer briefs into practical fuel tank designs, working closely with Sales and Production in Brackley.

The role involves hands-on design, measurement, reverse engineering and prototype work, with on-site duties and potential future hybrid work. On-site hours, health and safety standards apply, with a focus on practical, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing or General Engineering.
• An engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Mechanical/design engineering qualification desired.
• Equivalent practical experience in engineering/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer briefs into technically feasible fuel tank designs.
• Reverse engineer existing tanks and systems to create replacements.
• Create 2D/3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate with Production to ensure manufacturability and fit.
