Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Design Engineer for air and fuel systems in Peterborough. You will own the design of air/fuel system components from concept through to production release, working with suppliers and cross-functional teams to meet time, cost and quality targets.

The role is on-site in Peterborough, with a 40-hour week on a long-term contract. You should have a degree in engineering and strong CAD (Creo) and PLM (Teamcenter) experience, plus a proven ability to lead design

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with CAD Creo and PLM Teamcenter.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver air/fuel system component development projects, working with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• On-site role in Peterborough with collaboration across global engineering and production facilities.
• Lead design reviews and drive validation activities using APQP, FMEA and DVP&R.
