Job summary

RHL is seeking a Development Engineer to work on vehicle Air and Fuel Systems at our client's world-class development facility in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The successful applicant will develop air and fuel system components and collaborate with engineers, suppliers and production facilities to ensure high quality and reliability.

The role involves managing air/fuel system development projects, communicating status, leading design reviews, and coordinating validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering, engine components, manufacturing principles.
• Experience with fuel systems, air systems, EGR systems, turbochargers, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with DIAdem, vCDM, and Siemens TeamCenter PLM.

Responsibilities

• Manage air/fuel system development projects (3 high pressure fuel systems, EGR, Turbocharger).
• Communicate project status.
• Lead design reviews.
• Collaborate with suppliers.
• Assess technical risk and coordinate validation activities.
• Resolve technical issues.
• Understand customer needs and design requirements.
• Write technical reports.
• Implement engineering solutions globally.
• Identify improvement opportunities.
