Job summary

Comex2000uk is seeking self-employed FTTH engineers to install and maintain Openreach fibre networks for residential and business customers, handling full installation and testing across overhead and underground routes.

Candidates must hold current CIS-related certifications and have hands-on experience with telecom networks, power tools, and mobile job management apps, plus strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Qualifications: NRSWASLG and PIA Accreditations preferred.
• Must have experience with overhead and underground PIA networks.
• Additional accreditations highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Network Build-outs: Install new telecom services overhead and underground.
• Customer installations: Set up in-home or business cabling and service testing.
• Network Maintenance: Work on live network infrastructures (ducts, poles).
• Quality & Safety: Follow safety procedures and keep sites clean and safe for customers.
• Reporting & Admin: Record work using company systems.
