Job summary

Comex 2000 UK Ltd is seeking experienced FTTH Engineers to work as self-employed contractors on the Openreach network, installing and maintaining Full Fibre services for residential and business customers.

You will perform network build-outs, customer installations, and maintenance with strict safety standards, using power tools and mobile job management apps. Relevant NRSWA/PIA accreditations are required and must be up to date.

Qualifications

• NRSWA SLG and PIA Accreditations are preferrable.
• Experience with overhead and underground PIA networks is required.
• Additional accreditations such as A001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, and K8 Hand Rod & Rope are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Network Build-outs: Install new telecom services by running overhead lines on utility poles and subducting protective ducts underground.
• Customer installations: Visit homes or businesses to set up internal cabling and ensure services work.
• Network Maintenance: Work with live network infrastructures, ducts and poles.
• Quality & Safety: Follow strict safety procedures and keep sites clean and safe for customers.
• Reporting & Admin: Record work and keep information up to date in our systems.
