Job summary

Comex2000uk, a UK telecom contractor, is seeking self-employed FTTH engineers to install and maintain Openreach fibre services for residential and business customers across Full Fibre networks. You will perform hands-on network build-outs, customer installations, and ongoing maintenance, while reporting work in our mobile job management system and ensuring strict safety and quality standards on every site.

This role requires up-to-date NRSWA SLG and PIA accreditations, with overhead and

Qualifications

NRSWA SLG and PIA accreditations are required and must be in date.
Experience with overhead and underground PIA networks.
Additional accreditations such as A001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, K008 are desirable.
Strong telecom network knowledge and ability to use power tools and mobile apps.
Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Network build-outs: Install new telecom services by running overhead lines on poles and underground ducts.
Customer installations: Visit homes or businesses to set up internal cabling and ensure service works.
Network maintenance: Work with live network infrastructures (ducts and poles).
Quality & safety: Follow strict safety procedures and keep sites safe and clean.
Reporting & admin: Record work in our systems and keep information up to date.
