Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Verification Assurance Officer to join our Scotland team in Fort William. The role focuses on frontline fraud prevention, interview-based verification, and close collaboration with Jobcentre colleagues to strengthen fraud controls.

You'll conduct evidence interviews, educate claimants on their responsibilities, and help deliver the Welfare system's integrity through precise MI reporting and timely decision-making in a fully on-site role.

Qualificações

• Strong communication skills for educating claimants and colleagues.
• Ability to conduct robust interviews to verify documents and information.
• Understanding of fraud prevention within welfare services.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct initial and follow-up evidence interviews and verification activities.
• Interview claimants to verify identification, housing and childcare costs elements.
• Provide regular feedback on fraud trends to risk and intelligence teams.
• Lead customer education sessions on responsibilities and non-compliance consequences.
• Maintain accurate management information as directed by analysts.
