NCT's DAAT team is seeking a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to handle safeguarding referrals for young people within a countywide catchment. You will work within a 6-week duty cycle, with one full in-office duty week and four weeks remote, plus a laptop to support home-working arrangements.

Caseloads are typically 25–30 families. Visits must occur within strict timeframes (CIN within 5 days, CP within 24 hours). Training is available through overspill from permanent training allocations.

Formación

• Qualified Social Worker registration with social work regulatory body (e.g., SSSC/BSc Social Work).
• Experience with safeguarding and child welfare would be beneficial.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Visit CIN cases within 5 days of referral.
• Visit CP cases within 24 hours, or same day when possible.
• Work in a 6-week duty cycle with one full-time duty week in the office and four weeks remote.
• Maintain caseloads around 25–30 families and adjust workloads as needed.
• Access training via perm training allocations and time served at the authority.
