Job summary

Leaders in Care presents a flexible Duty & Assessment Social Worker role within a supportive local authority in Wales. The position offers hybrid working, reduced office expectations, and autonomy to deliver meaningful outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Care Wales registration.
  • Experience within duty, assessment, or frontline children’s services.
  • Proven experience undertaking safeguarding and Section 47 enquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Complete holistic assessments for children and families following new referrals.
  • Lead safeguarding enquiries including Section 47 investigations where risk is identified.
  • Identify and coordinate appropriate services for children with complex needs and disabilities.
