Job summary

Thames Water in Horley is seeking a Process Technician to join the team at Horley (Surrey) STW. You will help ensure the sewage treatment works operate reliably, carrying out planned maintenance and responding to faults to keep essential services flowing.

No sector background required; candidates from any industry are welcome. The role includes 38-hour week, standby payments and overtime opportunities after training, plus securing a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driver's licence.
• Self-motivated, disciplined and eager to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.
• Willing to undertake safety training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance on plant and equipment.
• Operate and clean plant to maintain safety and standards.
• Attend reactive jobs following plant and equipment failure.
• Keep sites clean and undertake safety and security checks.
• Carry out daily site checks to ensure compliant operation.
