Job summary

Accenture UK is seeking a Front End Engineering Manager in London to lead large-scale frontend teams across web and mobile platforms. You will mentor engineers, shape client solutions, and drive performance improvements with modern frontend tech and Generative AI.

The role requires extensive leadership within agile environments, collaboration with product, design and data science teams, and onsite presence with clients as needed. Flexibility is essential to deliver outstanding services.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading front end engineering teams/squads.
• Experience building with modern frontend technologies on web and/or mobile (React/iOS/Android/React Native).
• Use of Generative AI within workflows and/or products.
• Experience integrating cloud services directly into complex solutions (GraphQL/REST APIs).
• Previous senior software engineering roles (Engineering Lead/Team Lead).
• Extensive experience in agile environments for digital product creation.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend engineering across large digital and agile transformation programmes.
• Advise clients on building product and platform engineering capabilities and teams.
• Cultivate strong client relationships focusing on customer, digital and platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists and Engineers to deliver user-facing products.
• Propel the use of Generative AI within our work and products.
• Provide input to technology and engineering thought leadership for clients and teams.
• Maximise team performance through mentorship, skills learning and career development.
• Contribute to developing offerings, assets and capabilities and attend events.
