Job summary

GIOS Technology is seeking a Frontend Developer (Public Sector / SC Cleared) to join a hybrid team with 2 days in Exeter Office. You will interface with internal APIs, search indexes and cloud deployment pipelines, delivering responsive UI components across platforms.

Experience in public sector environments with mixed Azure and AWS clouds, plus hands-on Elasticsearch and SQL-like databases, is essential. Strong UI/UX focus, WCAG accessibility and Agile practices are required.

Qualifications

• Frontend Developer with experience in APIs, search indexes and cloud deployment pipelines.
• Public sector experience in hybrid cloud environments (Azure + AWS).
• Hands-on Elasticsearch and SQL-like databases experience.
• Strong UI design, accessibility (WCAG) and Agile methodologies.

Location : Hybrid & 2 days in Exeter Office

• Should have strong experience as a Frontend Developer interacting with internally developed APIs, search indexes, and cloud deployment pipelines
• Should have prior experience in public sector with mixed cloud environment (Azure + AWS)
• Hands-on experience working with Elasticsearch and SQL-like databases.
• Strong grounding in responsive UI design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with PyGeoAPI along with experience using Jira and Confluence for workflow management.
