Job summary

Comxps Ltd. is seeking a Frontend Developer to join our team in Exeter with hybrid attendance (1–2 days per week). You will work on modern frontend solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React and Next.js.

The role requires experience with Elasticsearch, SQL-like databases, and Git for version control. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate collaborates well in a team and can work independently to deliver polished, scalable frontend

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React/Next.js.

Job description

Location: Exeter office attendance 1/2 days per week

Contracting Authority: Government Client
Contract Length: 6 months.
Clearance: SC / SC eligible

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Next.js.
• Familiarity with databases and Search Indexes: Elasticsearch and SQL-like databases.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of cloud platforms and deployment strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
