We are ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, a bustling three-star hotel with 644 rooms, four unique F&B outlets, and a top team of 78 colleagues who warmly welcome our guests every day.We are looking for a Front OfficeSupervisor who can set a diverse team in motion and inspire them. Job Description

This is what you will do!

As our new Front Office Supervisor, you are responsible for the operational course of events in the department. You work closely with your colleagues and manager. You search for the best efficiency and challenge yourself and others. In addition, you know how to use every commercial opportunity and will actively make proposals to improve results and increase turnover. You ensure that the quality and service level within the hotel is maintained and optimized. Also:

  • You coordinate and arrange the reception activities;
  • Manage employees in exchange shifts;
  • You can plan efficiently;
  • Coach, guide, and develop the team;
  • Optimize the department and upsell.

Qualifications

Is it you we are looking for?

  • You can work 5 days per week;
  • You are hospitable and a service-oriented colleague;
  • You can make a genuine connection with the international guests and give them a proper “Feel Welcome” feeling.
  • Coaching is one of the goals of this department. By asking the right questions and listening carefully to the employees, you know what they need and dare to take it a step further.
  • You can work the following shifts: 07:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00 and 23:00 – 07:00.
