Job summary

Hotel Indigo Torquay is seeking Front Office Nights Team Members to join our team and bring the Hotel Indigo values to life. This full-time role involves greeting guests, checking in late arrivals and assisting with night-time operations using Opera or similar systems.

You will handle guest requests, ensure safety, run reports, and support a busy reception team through the night. We offer guaranteed hours, paid overtime, a complimentary meal on shift, holidays and enhanced sick pay.

Hotel Indigo Torquay is looking for Front Office Night Team Members to join our growing team and bring the Hotel Indigo values to life!

As a Front Office Nights Team Member (Full-Time), you can expect to carry out the following duties…

• Checking in our late-arrival guests and checking out our early-departure guests(you will greet our guests with a warm and authentic Hotel Indigo welcome, using Opera to check in our guests effectively) – it would be great if you had experience in a Nights Reception or Reception role within in a Hotel environment with experience of Opera or similar reception system (not essential)!
• Dealing with ad-hoc guest requests throughout the night(you will be problem solving to ensure we can elevate all of our guests stays, dealing with any guest requests and appropriate service recoveries for any guest complaints to make sure they leave with a smile)- you will be an excellent problem-solver and fast-thinker, we will give you the autonomy to do what you need to do in order to make sure our Guests have a stay above and beyond the expected!
• Ensuring the safety of our Guests and Colleagues(you will be focussed on ensuring a safe environment for our Guests and Colleagues, completing relevant checks and recording information via reports)– a high attention to detail and understanding of H&S would be a bonus!
• Completing ad-hoc tasks throughout the night(this is a varied role and you willbe dealing with a variety of tasks such as running reports, manning the reception desk, cleaning and completing checks around the hotel – therefore you will need to be someone who enjoys variety and likes helping the team where needed!)
