The Balmoral, a Rocco Forte Hotel in Edinburgh is seeking a part-time Kitchen/Porter assistant for 16 hours per week. You will work flexible day, evening and weekend shifts, supporting our kitchen and storage areas with high hygiene and safety standards.

• Be able to work independently whilst cooperating well with colleagues in own team and across departments
• Be integral in maintaining immaculate standards of hygiene, health and safety in the kitchen and storage areas
• Take pride in your work, which could include anything from ensuring the floors and food prep areas are spotless to helping the team with deliveries
• Tailor your approach so that high quality results are achieved
• Deliver discreet, understated and timely service, going that extra mile

Our hotel

The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline and since the day we opened in 1902 it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

Your key responsibilities
