Job summary

Apex Hotels in Bath is seeking a Front Office Manager to lead the guest journey from arrival to departure. You will drive revenue through upselling and cross-selling, and manage Room, F&B and ancillary revenue opportunities while upholding brand standards.

You will build and mentor a high-performing Front Office team, collaborate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B and other support functions, and oversee a seven-day senior management rota with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Front Office team in a hospitality setting.
• Strong focus on guest experience and service excellence.
• Ability to manage budgets and staffing to optimise revenue.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement departmental strategies to enhance guest experience.
• Lead a multi-skilled Front Office team and coordinate cross-department collaboration.
• Maintain a high-profile presence during peak guest demand periods.
• Deliver guest feedback resolution and drive upsell initiatives.
• Own payroll cost analysis and departmental budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and brand standards.
• Cover day, late and occasional night shifts as required.
