The Bath Priory invites you to join our luxury team as Reception Supervisor, where your leadership, warmth and energy help shape unforgettable guest experiences in a Georgian country house hotel in Bath.

You will lead the Front Office shifts, support colleagues across departments, and drive superb service using Opera PMS while maintaining brand standards and a collaborative environment for our guests and team.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, especially in hotel reception or front office.
• Ability to lead a team, handle shifts and maintain calm under pressure.
• Proactive, guest‑centric approach and problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Lead the shift and ensure the team is organized and delivers exceptional service.
• Be the go‑to person for challenges and make sound, timely decisions.
• Create memorable guest experiences and reflect the hotel's warmth and quality in every interaction.
• Support, coach and motivate reception colleagues to maintain high standards.
• Oversee guest journey from arrivals to billing and requests with attention to detail.
• Utilise Opera to support efficient Front Office operations and system integrity.
• Handle guest feedback with proactive service recovery and appropriate escalation.
• Communicate across departments for a joined‑up guest experience.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, procedures, and cash handling processes.
• Think commercially by understanding room availability, upsell opportunities and revenue impact.
• Lead by example to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
