Job summary

Talent Mappers is seeking an AI Solutions Architect for a leading investment management client in London. You will partner with market intelligence and investment teams to design AI-powered research solutions and prototypes, aligning technology with business outcomes.

You will translate complex requirements into scalable platform enhancements, lead workshops, and drive adoption of AI tools while staying ahead of emerging AI capabilities in a fast-paced, front-office environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Solutions Engineering, Solution Architecture, or related client-facing roles.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building with senior investment professionals.
• Strong commercial mindset; translate user needs into practical AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI platforms (Claude, GPT) and tooling.
• Understanding AI design, prompt engineering, and model APIs; basic Python/SQL skills.
• Startup or entrepreneurial experience is a plus.
• Interest in financial markets and investment research; STEM degree required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as forward-deployed AI solutions partner to investment teams across EMEA.
• Collaborate with investment professionals to identify challenges and design AI-powered solutions.
• Bridge business needs with central AI, data, and engineering teams for scalable improvements.
• Develop lightweight prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate value.
• Lead AI enablement through workshops, training, and best practices.
• Provide hands-on support for AI tools and workflows to overcome obstacles.
• Track adoption and impact; share insights with product and engineering teams.
• Stay current on emerging AI technologies and opportunities for research processes.
