Job summary

Martis Search is partnering with a London-based boutique hedge fund to appoint a Front Office AI Strategy & Implementation Specialist. This newly created role sits at the intersection of investment and technology, offering exposure to senior leadership and portfolio teams.

You will identify AI use cases, design tools, drive governance, and work with PMs and analysts to embed AI into research and decision making. The role is 4 days in the office with 1 day remote.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Fixed Income and/or Credit investment processes.
• Hands-on exposure to AI, ML, data engineering or workflow automation.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience building or working with GPTs, AI assistants, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities where AI can improve productivity, research capability and investment decision‑making.
• Run workshops and demonstrations to drive AI adoption across the business.
• Design and implement AI-enabled tools, workflows and solutions.
• Contribute to the firm’s AI governance and best-practice framework.
• Document, maintain and oversee AI tools and related processes.
• Act as a key internal advocate for the practical and responsible use of AI technologies.
