Bettys Café Tearooms in Ilkley is seeking a Front of House Team Leader to join our friendly café team. You will help manage service, guest experiences and uphold our high standards of hospitality.

We are Bettys & Taylors Group, known for Yorkshire Tea, Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate, and we value teamwork, learning and delivering quality. This full-time role requires 37.5 hours over 5 days, with weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Background in customer service or hospitality.
• Experience in managing and motivating a team.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Knowledge of food safety and health and safety procedures.

An opportunity has arisen in our Front of House team, and we are looking for a Front of House Team Leader to join us at Bettys Café Tearooms in Ilkley.

Working pattern

• This is a Full Time role working a minimum of 37.5 hours over 5 number days.
• We have a variety of shift patterns with start and finish times staggered throughout the day which is dependent on the opening hours of the branch.
• These shifts may include some early mornings or later finishes.
• You will be required to work at least one day at the weekend every week.

About You

You’ll have a background in customer service or hospitality. You’ll have experience in managing and motivating a team. You will have good communication skills and the ability to work well with others as we rely on our strong team ethic to deliver the highest levels of quality and customer service. You will have the desire to learn all about our products and be able to confidently share your knowledge and enthusiasm with our customers. You’ll have some knowledge of food safety and health and safety procedures.
