Job summary

Bettys Café Tearooms in Ilkley is seeking a Front of House Team Leader to guide our busy service from the dining rooms and counter. You will lead a small team, supervise shifts, and uphold our renowned hospitality standards.

A full-time role (37.5 hours over five days) with weekend work, a strong team ethic, and opportunities to learn about our products. We value quality service, health and food safety, and supportive development in a friendly culture.

Qualifications

• Background in customer service or hospitality.
• Experience in managing and motivating a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with others.
• Knowledge of food safety and health and safety procedures.

An opportunity has arisen in our Front of House team, and we are looking for a Front of House Team Leader to join us at Bettys Café Tearooms in Ilkley.

Working pattern

• This  isaFull Timerole working a minimum of 37.5 hoursover 5number days.
• We have a variety of shift patterns with start and finish times staggered throughout the day which is dependent on the opening hours of the branch. 
• These shifts may include some early mornings or later finishes.
• You willbe requiredto work at least one day at the weekend every week.

About you

You’ll have a background in customer service or hospitality. You’ll have experience in managing and motivating a team. You will have good communication skills and the ability to work well with others as we rely on our strong team ethic to deliver the highest levels of quality and customer service. You will have the desire to learn all about our products and be able to confidently share your knowledge and enthusiasm with our customers. You’ll have some knowledge of food safety and health and safety procedures.
