Unico Lounge is seeking a Front of House Supervisor to lead the team on shift, ensuring warm hospitality and smooth operations at our lounge. You will guide staff, manage the pass and bar, and handle customer queries to deliver memorable experiences.

The role forms part of the Loungers family, with up to 13.30/hr + tips, paid breaks, and staff meals from day one, plus 50% off food and drinks across our brands.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurants, bars, cafes or coffee shops.
• Ability to lead a team on the floor.
• Comfortable owning a shift and delegating tasks.

Responsabilités

• Lead the floor during busy shifts to ensure smooth service.
• Support management with opening/closing tasks and standards.
• Coach and motivate the team, clarifying roles.
• Oversee cleanliness, food safety, allergens, and cash handling.
• Resolve customer queries confidently to turn visits into great experiences.
• Drive sales by managing the bar, pass, and lounge operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front during busy shifts, helping the team deliver great service and keep everything running smoothly
• Support the management team with the day-to-day operation of the lounge, from opening and closing tasks to keeping standards high across the floor
• Help coach, guide and motivate the team, making sure everyone knows their role and feels confident during service
• Keep a close eye on the detail, including cleanliness, presentation, food safety, allergens and cash handling processes
• Step in to handle customer queries or complaints confidently, always aiming to turn a good visit into a great one
• Play your part in driving sales, managing the bar and pass, and helping create a Lounge that your local community loves coming back to

What We're Looking For

• Someone who leads by example on the floor and sets the pace for the team around them
• A natural host who helps create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes Unico Lounge feel like a home from home
• Community-minded - you get to know your regulars, your neighbours, and what makes Stroud tick
• Comfortable taking ownership of a shift - delegating, managing the pass and bar, and dealing with customer queries confidently
• Experience in restaurants, bars, caf s or coffee shops - whether as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or a brilliant front of house team member ready for their next step
• As Supervisor you'll be a key part of the team at Unico Lounge; supporting your managers, leading your colleagues through each shift, and helping make sure every customer leaves happy.
