Job summary

Ballymore is seeking a Security & Operations Manager at Pan Peninsula, Canary Wharf (E14). The role oversees Security, Concierge and front-of-house operations, ensuring safety, high service standards and compliance across the estate.

You will lead teams, manage staffing, conduct trainings, and drive continuous improvement in security and resident services. The position involves emergency response, incident reporting and close collaboration with residents and external agencies.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence is required.
• Proven leadership experience in security, residential or hospitality operations.
• Strong knowledge of security systems, fire safety and health & safety compliance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and customer service skills.
• Experience managing teams, performance and service delivery in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to remain calm, decisive and effective during emergencies and operational incidents.
• Proficient in operational reporting systems and resident management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop Security, Concierge and other front-of-house teams to deliver high service standards.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, performance, attendance, conduct and development of team members.
• Prepare rotas and staffing levels across all functions.
• Deliver regular briefings and training to promote operational excellence and compliance.
• Oversee estate security, CCTV, access control, Fire Control Centre operations and front-of-house services.
• Ensure patrols, inspections, shift checks and audits are completed and standards maintained.
• Lead emergency responses and business continuity activities as senior operational representative.
• Maintain procedures, risk assessments, KPIs and service standards, driving improvements.
• Build relationships with residents, occupiers, contractors and external agencies.
• Resolve resident enquiries, incidents and complaints within set timescales.
