Staffline is recruiting a Security Supervisor to oversee manned guarding at a busy corporate site in Canary Wharf. The role requires SIA licensing, strong customer service, and the ability to manage emergencies and escalations while ensuring policy adherence.

You will supervise a 24/7 Security Operatives team, control access and vehicle movement, and coordinate with reception and Fire/Emergency teams. The position is based on-site with shift patterns including nights.

Qualifications

• SIA licence required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience supervising security in public sector preferred.
• Ability to handle emergencies and escalations.

Responsabilités

• Manage manned guarding operations for a busy corporate space in Canary Wharf.
• Verify access for staff and vehicles using security passes.
• Escort unauthorized persons and manage visitor procedures.
• Conduct CCTV monitoring and respond to alarms 24/7.
• Supervise Security Operatives rota and 24/7 coverage.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures and safety policies.
• Liaise with Fire and Bomb threat evacuation authorities.
• Maintain electronic log of visitors and vehicles.
• Coordinate with reception for prompt attendance.
