Job summary

Samsic UK is recruiting for a Front of House Security Officer in Sunderland. You will provide a professional security service with a smart, alert presence, meet and greet visitors and maintain a high level of customer care.

This permanent full-time role requires strong English skills and a valid SIA licence, with a 4-on-4 off day shift pattern. Candidates must be able to work 06:30 to 18:30 and meet the health and safety requirements, including report writing and liaison between the client and

Qualifications

• Must hold Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding.
• Must have unrestricted right to work in the UK for 12 months.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Five-year checkable history with HMRC work history record at interview.

Responsibilities

• Meet and Greet visitors and maintain a professional presence.
• Answer enquiries courteously and professionally.
• Manage all security control base systems and reports.
• Maintain vigilance and a courteous security presence.
• Produce accurate reports as needed.
• Liaise effectively between client and Samsic UK Security Contract Manager.
• Act as an ambassador for Samsic UK Security and the client.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal communication and customer care.
• Display knowledge of Health & Safety.

Front of House Security Officer at Samsic UK

We have an exciting opportunity for a Front of House Security Officer to join our team in Sunderland.

The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional security service to Samsic UK Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service; presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence.

Flexibility is vital as you will be required to work day shifts between 06:30 and 18:30 on 4on 4off shift pattern.

• Average Weekly Hours: 42 hrs pw
• Contracted Hours: 42 hrs pw
• Employee Status: Permanent/ Full Time

Duties will include:

• “Meet and Greet”
• Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally
• Manage all systems within the security control base
• Ensure a vigilance, professional presence
• Produce accurate reports as and when needed
• Be an effective liaison between the client and the company Contract Manager
• Be an effective ambassador for Samsic UK Security and the client
• Excellent verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachable, clearly spoken
• Excellent customer care skills
• Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety
• Possesses computer literacy of at least a basic level
• Demonstrates basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports
• Demonstrates good observation skills
• Demonstrates a flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns

In order to work for Samsic UK you MUST fulfil the following criteria:

• Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
• Have an unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
• Be fluent in spoken and written English
• Have a five-year checkable history (Providing a HMRC 3 Year Work History record at your interview)
