Job summary

Ward Security is seeking an experienced Security Officer to support a prestigious corporate site in the City of London. You will be professional in appearance, deliver outstanding customer service, and maintain calm under pressure while patrolling, controlling access, and reporting incidents.

Reporting to the Security Control Room, you will assist with CCTV, alarms and loading bay operations, and help ensure a safe, welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence is required.
• Minimum 2 years corporate security experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanour.
• 5-year checkable work history.
• IT literate with CCTV and access control experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a professional front-of-house presence and manage access control.
• Patrol the building, provide break relief, and report issues promptly.
• Support Security Control Room with alarms, CCTV and incident reports.
• Coordinate loading bay activities and contractor movements.
• Maintain high presentation standards and client-focused service.
