Job summary

Phyllis Court Club is a private members club situated in a grand riverside manor on the River Thames in Henley-On-Thames. We are seeking a friendly Receptionist to welcome members and guests, handle bookings, and support event and restaurant services.

Reporting to the Front of House Manager, you will work as part of a small team, providing a warm, professional welcome, managing calls, and assisting with guest check-ins and health and safety observations.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and clear communication with guests.
• Ability to work well in a small team and support colleagues.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Strong problem solving and composure under pressure is essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and guests at the club reception.
• Handle bookings and events enquiries by phone or in person.
• Register guests for events or restaurant bookings and direct calls to other departments.
