Job summary

Wilson James is seeking a Front of House Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment for staff and visitors at our London sites. The role involves greeting people, patrolling premises, monitoring access points and CCTV, and responding to alarms and incidents.

You will complete detailed reports, assist in evacuations, and adapt to varying client-site requirements. A current DS SIA Licence and proven security experience are essential; we value calm, proactive individuals who communicate

About the Role:

As a FOH Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere
• Conducting regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism.
• Monitoring access points, CCTV, and handling security procedures
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.
• Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required.
• Adapting to different client sites – no two days are the same
• Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns
• Working as part of a diverse, supportive team

What we are looking for:

• To hold a current DS SIA Licence
• Proven experience in a security role or a similar position.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
